The Association Internationale pour l’Etude de la Mosaïque Antique (AIEMA) of has announced the 1st circular of its 14th Colloquium.
The colloquium will take place in Nicosia, Cyprus, from the 15 to 19 of October 2018. Its main theme deals with“The Continuity of Classical Iconography in the Mosaics of Late Antiquity”.
Additionally there will be a sessions on “New Discoveries and Studies”. There are also plans to organize a special panel (by invitation only) on mosaic conservation, its role in our understanding of mosaics, and in relation to large-scale conservation projects in Cyprus.
