Post-Conference Tour to Delos

We are pleased to announce that the booking for the post-conference tour to the island of Delos is now open. The tour offers a unique opportunity to visit one of Greece’s most significant archaeological sites—the legendary birthplace of Apollo and Artemis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1990. Once a vibrant Panhellenic sanctuary and commercial hub, Delos is especially renowned for its exquisite mosaic floors.

To participate in the guided tour on Delos, scheduled for October 26th, you will need to arrive on the island of Mykonos by October 25th and stay for two nights, departing on October 27th.

To assist with travel and accommodation arrangements, the Organizing Committee has explored several options through local travel agencies and is pleased to present you the following package:

Accommodation:

  • Entrance to the archaeological site of Delos and guided tour on 26 of October
  • Light lunch at the premises of the French Archaeological School on Delos

Transportation:

  • Athens city center – Piraeus port– Athens city center, on the 25th and 27th October
  • Athens – Mykonos – Athens, high-speed ferry on the 25th and 27th October
  • Mykonos – Delos – Mykonos, ferry on the 26th October
  • Local transfers from port of Mykonos to the hotel and back

Guided tour on Delos:

  • Entrance to the archaeological site of Delos and guided tour on 26 of October
  • Light lunch at the premises of the French Archaeological School on Delos

Cost per person:

  • In a double room: 415 euros, each (830 in total for two persons)
  • in a single room: 665 euros

Due to site restrictions, the tour is limited to 30 participants, and only a few places are still available. Registration will be handled on a first come, first served basis. Further details regarding pricing, payment, and how to book the package will be provided upon confirmation of your participation. A deposit of 20% of the total cost will have to be deposited to the Travel Agency (non-refundable).

⚠️ Important Note: A minimum of 20 participants is required for the tour to proceed as planned. Final confirmation of the tour will depend on reaching this minimum number, so your timely response is essential.

A first installment deposit of 20% of the total Net accommodation cost is required upon booking and is non-refundable in case of cancellation.

No free cancellation is allowed for this rate; special conditions apply.

If cancelled any time after the reservation, the deposit is strictly non-refundable

If cancelled 56 days before arrival, the balance amount will not be charged

If cancelled 55 days or less before arrival, 100% cancellation fees apply.

Departure earlier or no-show will be charged 100% cancellation fees
